St John's College

This week, a big group of us went to check out St John's college, one of the wealthiest colleges which belongs to University of Cambridge.

It's a beautiful building and round the back in the gardens you can see the famous Bridge of Sighs.

Birthday Cupcakes!

This week two of our students Valeria and Cassandra celebrated their 17th birthdays by decorating cupcakes with friends!

Our excursion to Brighton!

Last Saturday, we took full advantage of the sunshine on our excursion to sunny Brighton.

Look at the beautiful clear blue sky! 

Many students enjoyed the traditional British seaside take-away Fish and Chips! 

Whilst we were in Brighton, we all visited the Sealife Centre and checked out the turtles, sharks and different species of fish!

Cream Tea at The Orchard Tea Gardens- yummy!

Last week, a group of us went for a long walk in the sunshine through some parks of Cambridge along the River Cam to Grantchester. It was a long walk, but we were lucky with the weather and had a good chat along the way!

When we got to The Orchard Tea Gardens, we all had a Traditional Cream Tea experience which included a giant scone each, a pot of jam and small tub of clotted cream and a cup of tea!

Mask Decorating

This week student's came to show off their creative side and decorated their own masks with Aimee-Jane @ Hills Road...

Punting!

This week we made the most of the sunshine and warm weather and went punting on the River Cam! Look at Marc looking like a cool dude!

All of the students were given a quick briefing on how to punt...

and they got the hang of it and had lots of fun too!

Ultimate Frisbee

Last week we had lots of fun playing Ultimate Frisbee on Parker's Piece.

It was the first time all of the students who participated had ever played a match of Ultimate Frisbee  but they all got the hang of it and had a great time too!

The final score was 5-3 and this was the winning goal! Come along next time for a simple and fun game!
