Pool night at Mickey Flynn's

Amazing turn out, as the students of Studio Cambridge took over Mickey Flynn's Pool Hall. As you can see, this outing was extremely popular!

Friendship Bracelet Making

in possibly the fiddliest task to date, the students definitely did better than I did at making some traditional friendship bracelets

 After everyone chose their different coloured threads, and a quick demonstration, it was time to get on with some serious bracelet making.

Some were very pleased with their results....

Others less so.....

But I think they did some pretty fine work!

T Shirt Design!

This week the students got given a whole load of T Shirts, a whole load of fabric pens, and ended up with a bunch of fine looking garments!

 First they grabbed their plain shirt.....

 Got set up.....

got their designs ready..... 

Then got stuck in. 

 

 

 This T Shirt is indeed amazing.

 Great turn out, and some none too shabby shirts to go with it!

Ghost Walk

As its Halloween this month, we kicked it of with a Ghost Walk around Cambridge City Centre, where our guide told us tales of all the ghosts and ghouls that haunt our city.

One or two scares were had, and also a few laughs. All in all a great little tour. And even if you live in Cambridge, there's a good chance there is is a lot you didn't know about the City.
